Mike Nickerson

Throughout his adult life, Mike Nicherson has been fascinated by how societies evolve. Even in the early 1970`s, when many of toda`s problems were still prjections, Mike sensed that we were beginning what will likely be the greatest transformation of all time. He was motiveated early on by the collective vision of voluntary and non-profit citizens` groups. Tolook at the problems and solutions that stimulate change, and to learn about the ways in which change talke place, he founded the Institute for eh Study of Cultural Evolution in 1971.
By assembling common themes from the aspirations and concerns of citizens` groups, the Institute`s work culminated with the outline for sustainability presented in Life, Money & Illusion. There are abundant solutions, well within our grasp, if we choose to apply them.
