We are not, however, restricted to them. We are currently not reading poetry or children’s books Include a self-addressed stamped envelope if by post. We try to reply promptly – within a day or two. We do not want to see sample chapters, diskettes, or attachments at this stage. Your letter will tell us all we need to know. Should we wish to explore your proposal further, we will ask for: exclusive reading rights for three months We are easy to approach and work with, but please do as we ask. Our acquisitions editor will not, for example, accept a manuscript that is single-spaced. We look forward to many good manuscripts. |
